RECIPES:

  •  GREEN SMOOTHIE … 3-4 Kale Leaves, (stems removed), 3-4 green cabbage leaves, 1 handful of green grapes (can substitute 1/2 pear), 1 banana and 1 c coconut water
    • other greens that can be added … 1/4 bell pepper, green powders (that include spirulina, wheatgrass, etc)
    • Blend together in a VitaMix or Nija Blender until smooth
    • To make it thicker and colder, ice cubes can be added as desired
  • CREAMY SMOOTHIE … 1 c yogurt, 1 c fruit of your choice (strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, peach, pineapple, etc), 1/2 c coconut water, 1 scoop of protein powder (can use whichever brand you want) OR  1 TBSP almond butter
    • Blend together in a VitaMix or Ninja Blender until smooth

  • SITTING IS THE NEW SMOKING … as the title implies, we diminish our health by sitting more than a few hours at a time. So get up and MOVE, 5 min for every 1-2 hours that you are sitting. Make a trip to the bathroom, to the water cooler, to a printer further away in the office. Even better – get outside and take a deep breath of air, look at the sky, hug a tree. Remember that there is so much more in the world. This will help you be more focused when you are working … whatever you are doing.
